If on the freeway you see that a mile up ahead your left lane is going to have to merge right, you should probably just do that now, even if the right lane is already moving much more slowly than the left, and even if you'll have to slow down the left lane's traffic to right-lane speed to do so. It gives me a pop-up, I fill in info, I get another pop-up from the host site to confirm, the initial pop-up thinks a bit then closes and re-loads the article page, but it still says "Post as Guest".)
